Job Description

The role will partner closely with Integrated Pharmacy Finance & Operations, Pharmacy Product, Sales and Account Management, Health Services Supply Chain, and other internal partners. Prepares financial analyses of economics drivers of both medical and Rx specialty drug sourcing and works with partners to communicate results and drive pharmacy strategy.

Pharmacy Economics Team Roles and Responsibilities :
Strategic decision analytic support on financial topics related to medical specialty drugs:

Evaluating medical network contracts and provider specialty drug reimbursement

Predictive medical specialty drug pricing

Drug level steerage opportunity to lower sites of care

Project affordability for Pathwell Specialty product solutions and strategy changes

Business Partners with direct interactions include:
Pharmacy Product partners for Pathwell Specialty

Integrated Medical Financial Planning, Analysis, and Operations

Pharmacy Sales and Account Management

Formulary Modeling and Management

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics or related field strongly preferred

4-6 years of actuarial, financial analysis or related experience

Attained ASA designation or equivalent work experience

Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills

Experience with process creation and automation

Possession of a strong desire and demonstrated ability to lead

Drive to develop business and actuarial skills through ongoing training and varied rotations

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 97,400 - 162,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
