Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including forecasting, procurement, and demand planning and obsolete inventory.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the fulfillment process and resolve issues impeding attainment of delivery KPIs.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and service levels.
• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics and warehouse team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Oversee employee performance appraisals, ensure performance issues are addressed and resolved.
• Ensure logistics and warehouse team receive the training, certifications, and tools to effectively carry out their duties.
• Participate in planning personnel safety and compliance activities.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of inventory and logistics processes.
• Ensure that all operational metrics are met or exceeded, including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, and lead initiatives to implement changes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and other departments, to ensure seamless integration of logistics and inventory management with overall business objectives.
• Provide regular reporting on inventory and logistics metrics, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and transportation/freight costs.
• Lead the development of annual and quarterly budgets for the logistics and warehouse department and monitor actual results against budgeted targets.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, and continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and processes to improve logistics and inventory management.

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain management, with at least 5 of those years in a leadership role.
• Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and other logistics software tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve shared goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex logistics and supply chain issues.
• Proven track record of managing complex logistics operations and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Natural ability to develop strong, trusting relationships.
• Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency, and safety.
