Admissions Coordinator

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation and Healing Center is looking for a talented and hard-working Admissions Coordinator to join their team. The Riverside is a facility with 520 beds and is proud of their state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gym servicing 160+ short term patients. The Riverside Rehabilitation’s team spanning 20 years of experience with backgrounds in acute, sub-acute, long term and outpatient settings would provide an excellent setting for learning and growth.

Admissions Coordinator Duties Include:

• Receive and clinically review all referrals regarding prospective residents from all referral sources including hospitals, home, alfs, etc. within 20 minutes

• Checks insurance benefits and sends for authorizations for new admissions in a timely manner

• Inform necessary departments of the arrival of new residents and coordinate the admission process as outlined in the facility policy.

• Contacts all families/ residents prior to admissions to ensure needs will be met

• Ensures all patient information is inputted into EMR prior to arrival

• End of day Census

Admissions Coordinator Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be able to clinically review and evaluate medical documents to determine admission

• Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner

• Good organizational, planning, and marketing skills

Salary Range:

$45,000- $55,000
