POSITION DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will, first and foremost, achieve or exceed expectations by developing trusted client relationships.

A successful candidate will be a team champion and client advocate. He or she will possess exceptional intellect, business acumen, and written and verbal communication skills. She or he will have skilled mastery in working cross-functionally from the most strategic to the most detailed level.

Other key relationships -Vice President, Professional Services Senior Director, Delivery & Quality Assurance Functional and Technical Consultants Manager, Implementation Consulting Manager, Technical Implementation Consulting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with clients, project teams, and partners to implement Advancement RM
  • Create project plans and/or refine templates to meet client requirements.
  • Properly schedule tasks, activities, and resources in an appropriate cadence and sequence that align with practice capacity, adhere to deadlines, and support an agile approach.
  • Monitor, track, and perform quality control on the project to maintain expected standards.
  • Perform risk management to minimize the effects of negative issues and risks on the project. Raise issues to Affinaquest leaders in a timely manner.
  • Properly manage project scope, budget, and schedule using conventional project management techniques; maintain a current project plan at all times
  • Effectively manage deliverables as detailed in the client's State of Work. Ensure deliverables are provided to clients on time, within scope, and as expected.
  • Initiate change orders to address scope, timeline, or costs as required.
  • Oversee client billable hours to ensure appropriate and approved use of time. Review and approve monthly invoices. Provide other project reports as required in the client Statement of Work (ETC, burn rate, etc.)
  • Measure quality, project performance, and other high-value metrics using PSA, other tools, and techniques
  • Develop effective client relationships that enhance the Affinaquest brand and build confidence in our teams.
  • Effectively manage partner-led projects that result in a project that is within scope, delivered on time and on budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Execute a communication plan that includes consistent reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:


MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive and proven success in project management for technology implementation
  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide systems
  • PMP or achievement of certification within 6 months of hire date
  • Experience implementing technology solutions to external client stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at different implementation phases with potentially different consulting teams
  • Work Remotely; willing to travel for delivery of onsite services.

  • Experience implementing technology that includes complex data migration workstreams.
  • Experience in higher education advancement or healthcare fundraising

  • Possess extreme attention to detail, a self-starter.
  • Maturity – provides a good balance of risk-taking and judgment; is assertive and confident; able to operate independently or within teams.
  • Professional – unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character; demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM solutions
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software and keep up to date on software enhancements.
  • Positive team player that can work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree
