The pharmacy technician will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist to distribute, prepare, and fill medications throughout the hospital. The pharmacist must be physically present on site to directly supervise the technician.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician License

Preferred:

• Previous experience with 340B drug pricing program.
• Two years of pharmacy technician experience (Hospital and/or Retail)
• Previous experience with the use of the Pyxis system
• Previous experience preparing IV admixtures
• Previous experience with Epic EMR system
