Austin's Way LLC was started to support and encourage independence to an individual(s) with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities in Gloucester, VA. This job is rewarding, engaging, and collaborative. We seek to hire and train Direct Support Professionals, Caregivers, and Certified Nurses Assistants (CNA) to provide care in a home setting.

We are looking for a Direct Support Professional, Caregivers, and CNAs to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, helping individuals develop life skills, and advocating for the rights of those in their care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing quality care and support.

Responsibilities:

• LIVE-IN Sun 7p - Wed 7a (60 Hours) OFF Thur, Fri & Sat.
• LIVE-IN Wed 7a - Sat 7a (60 Hours) OF Sun, Mon, Tue.
• Provide direct support to an individual with Austism.
• MUST posess a valid driver's license.
• Transport individual to and from day support, medical appointments, and community outings.
• Assist in the development of individualized plans and goals.
• Prepare nutrious well-balanced meals daily.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with disabilities.
• Monitor the health and safety of individuals with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living skills i.e. showering, cooking, and use of communicative device(s).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure proper quality of services.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gloucester, VA 23061: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
