• Use information to assemble extensive financial databases
• Automate financial reporting activities.
• Compile financial reports using calculations, data, and other information.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance of programs, indirect departments, and service centers compared to established goals and objectives.
• Work closely with team members to consolidate budget and forecast financial performance.
• Identify and research key variances.
• Work with and secure highly sensitive and confidential financial data and information.
• Continuously update skill set, expertise, and technical knowledge by attending the required workshops and courses.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.

• 1-3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Knowledge in the use of financial software systems a plus.
• Knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting Standard and Federal Acquisition Regulations desirable.

• A high level of knowledge in the use of a PC is required.
• Advance experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other automated accounting systems usage is required.
• Understanding of database maintenance and design.
• Understand database structures and data mining.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Ability to perform research and compile reports.
• Ability to plan and track budgets.
• Advanced computational skills.
• Experience forecasting and analyzing data.
• Experience in finance and accounting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
• Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
