POSITION OVERVIEW

The Content Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing various types of content, that will output social videos & GIFs primarily for the platforms of TikTok, Instagram and Twitter. The ideal candidate must have excellent editing and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles across social media platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Edit and proofread various types of content, including social media posts, video and other materials, ensuring that they meet the company's high standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and other members of the creative team to develop effective campaigns and strategies that resonate with the target audience.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest social trends and advertising, including new technologies, emerging platforms, and best practices.
  • Ability to edit and create social video for across platforms, sizing for optimization according to the industry's best practices
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Attend client meetings and present content ideas and strategies to clients as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1-2+ years of experience as a in content editing, social media marketing or other related fields, preferably in an advertising agency or marketing department.
  • Excellent photo, graphic, video and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (i.e. Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
