Job Description
We are seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our 2nd Shift team at our Ridgefield Park location!
Specialty Rx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. Specialty Rx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.
HOURS: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM (Mon-Friday and Every other weekend) Must complete 3-4 weeks of onsite training before going remote.
Pharmacy Technician-Data Entry Responsibilities:
- Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
- Generate labels for dispensing.
- Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
- Clarify orders as needed.
- Triage incoming faxes.
Pharmacy Technician-Data Entry Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with NJ Board of Pharmacy.
- Previous experience in pharmacy desire.
- Knowledge of brand names and generic medications.
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
- Must be multi-tasking and reliable.
- Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
- Quick typing skills.
- Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS.
