Scott Thomas, aka SimpleScott, is the designer who brought us BarackObama.com and later WhiteHouse.gov. He’s recently published Designing Obama, a book filled with some of the best designs that helped America elect its first black president.
The book’s $80, and I’d like to own it, but I’m still deciding whether to buy it. The iPad version is currently priced at just $5, so I may just wait until Apple graces us with version 2 of the iPad and buy the book then, as it’s likely to be a lovely thing to browse on such an interactive device.
Scott is also speaking at CompostModern in January, a sustainability and design conference in San Francisco.
