Drive: The surprising truth about what motivates us

Not only is the subject of this video totally evocative, but the way it’s presented is utterly brilliant. It’s actually the best way for people like me (visual thinkers) to ingest more complex subjects.

In my own work (and non-work too) I often find that I can approach a problem with a lot more clarity if I diagram it out, for example sketching a process or a problem as a flow chart, or just drawing boxes and modules and icons to better visualize the potential different solutions for a design, a tool, a piece of furniture, or whatever.

I keep a thin, pocket-sized Moleskine in my back pocket at all times, for just this sort of thing.
